1940 Italian Army Diary

An interesting little item - an Italian pocket diary dated 1940. With the exception of a two word pencil entry on 2 Luglio (July) the diary's calendar pages are blank, but in the notes pages at the front and rear of the diary are some handwritten entries. Some are written in Italian in black ink and pencil and interestingly a list of British names is written in pencil on another page. Was this item 'liberated' by a British squaddie in Abyssinia/Libya? In good used condition commensurate with an item 70 years old.
